My love for the visual arts began in the '70s at Duke University where I studied with Vernon Pratt. Since then I've continued to explore art-making in media including blown glass, printmaking,re-made books and product packaging, as well as paint. My studies have landed me in New York, Florida, and Tangier, Morocco before settling very happily here in North Carolina. Even with decades of viewing and creating artwork behind me, I still thrill to the power of the fine arts to stimulate and amuse us.
