This fall, Rock & Shop comes to Durham, North Carolina with a brand new concept. The Rock & Shop Vintage Market is a one-of-a-kind shopping experience; a vintage furniture, fashion, art & music flea market featuring independent local and national designers plus live music by local performers--all at the Triangle's hottest new all-inclusive venue, The Cotton Room at Golden Belt.

Shop a fabulous selection of one-of-a-kind vintage furniture, fashion and re-purposed, recycled and upcycled accessories. There will be a bar and live bands Lonnie Walker and Mount Weather will perform.

So grab a beer at the bar, listen to some awesome bands and shop the indoor aisles filled with hip products made from emerging designers. Many designers take credit cards, but not all, so definitely bring cash.

The Rock & Shop Vintage Market is now accepting vendor applications. Deadline is Thursday October 1, 2009.

Started in 2004 by Michelle Smith, a local designer and online boutique owner, Michelle wanted to create a local market that would help support and celebrate the burgeoning indie arts scene of professional designers, artists and musicians in the Triangle and beyond. Inspiration for the Rock & Shop Market comes from similar fairs around the country including The Renegade Craft Fair, Bizaar Bazaar, Portland Oregon's weekly markets and Feria Urbana.
