Open Monday – Saturday 10AM to 7PM and Sundays 12PM to 6PM. Room 100 is free and open to the public.
Curated by the Durham Art Guild, Room 100 features 540 square feet of white walls, cement floors, abundant natural daylight, and is centrally located within the artist studio community in Building 3 at Golden Belt.
Each month, Room 100 showcases work by a different DAG member artist, chosen through an annual call for proposals juried by a five-person panel of community arts professionals. The Durham Art Guild hosts a public reception for each new exhibit on the Third Friday of every month from 6-9PM, in tandem with Durham’s monthly Third Friday arts celebration.
The Durham Art Guild was established in 1948 and its mission is to function as a non-profit, member-driven organization with the primary goal of operating a visual arts gallery featuring the work of regional artists. The Durham Art Guild is also committed to the promotion and support of the arts, artists and educational outreach in the community.
